I have 12gb ram but windows says only 3.95gb is usable.

I have 12gb ram but windows says only 3.95gb is usable. I'm running windows 10 64 bit, and I made sure that my ram is working properly. I just upgraded to an MSI 970 Gaming motherboard, but a couple days ago, the PC stated I had 12 GB available. This doesn't make any sense 🙁
I'm trying to get ready for Battlefront 3 :/

It looks like it's not seeing the 8gb stick, go into your BIOS and make sure the motherboard is seeing both. If not try swapping the RAM slots.

Yup, I have the latest ones installed.

Motherboard read both, but I went ahead and switched them... Now Windows only readys 8gb

Try this and see if it helps, the instructions are for Win 8.1 but the steps are the same for 10.
