Question I have 16GB of ram installed on my computer but it only uses 8 GB?

Hey,

I have 16 GB of DDR4 RAM installed on my computer, but it only uses 8 GB. I've tried changing the max memory in msconfig but it won't let me check 'make all boot options permanent' so it just changes back.

If it makes it any better. The other 8 GB is reserved for hardware. I already know you can fix it in the msconfig by checking the max memory. But it doesn't work. Anyone please help.

Try testing the sticks individually.
