I have 1g Of ram unusable on my Laptop

I have a Dell Inspiron 5555 With a AMD A8-7410 APU With AMD Radeon R5 Graphics 2.20 Gz Processor. I have 6 gb of ram installed, and only 4.94 usable please help!

That GB is used by the APU for graphics memory. That seems normal to me.

Second this. It shows how much memory is available after Windows, installed programs usage, what OP sees is normal for all computers.
Open some multitab internet browser like firefox and open 20 tabs and check memory, you will see dramatic drop in available memory.
