[SOLVED] i have 1gigabit internet but when i download stuff it goes at 3mbp/s max

i have gigabit internet (1000mbp/s fiber internet)
(i get 350mbp/s cause i use bad cables but whatever)
but whenever i download stuff it only goes at 3mbp/s or lower.
0 clue to why is that

speedtest says i do get 350mbp/s so... idk

its not the sending server because i downloaded multiple stuff from multiple sources

downloading what from where, multiple source don't tell us anything
modem model? using a router? wifi?

If you have any network optimization for gaming software loaded. That could be your problem. Something like the Killer network manager or some of the motherboards include game optimizers for networking.

I have the same issue and I have checked for the CFosSpeed network management software on my PC and its not there. Not sure whats going on..... If I reset my router I go back up to 1 Gbps download for like 2 days and then i drops down to 400 Mbps

steam, couple torrents and many just off the web.
steam is the main one i think i should get around 50per seconds?

The "ROG game first" software can limit your download speeds. As I said in my initial post. Check for software that might be trying to "optimize" for game traffic.
