I have 2 display adapters

So on my pc i have two display adapters, one Nvidia GeForce GTX 745 and Intel(R) HD Graphics 4600. I was wondering is this normal or do i need to uninstall one

No, that is normal and nothing to worry about. The Intel(R) HD Graphics 4600 adapter belongs to the integrated graphics built into your CPU. Since you've got a separate graphics card, you shouldn't be using that one currently. But if your GTX 745 dies or if you upgrade it, you'll have to switch to the HD Graphics in order to keep using the computer until you install a new graphics card, so definitely don't uninstall it!

Okay, well in that case I've nothing to add to what Ambular has told you - - he's correct.

Had it been a laptop, different information applies (and yes, many laptops do come with two GPUs).

You should obviously be running your monitor from the gtx 745 cards output to ensure that's what your using .

If you plug it into the motherboard video socket (next to all the USB ports etc) you'll be using the Intel graphics which are weaker.
