[SOLVED] I have 2 routers and I want to set one up as an acces point. Will I still be able to run a cable from the AP to my PC?

So I have 2 routers in my house. The first one is at my door (this is how I get my internet connection) and the second one is in my room since we don't get full coverage in the house because of thick walls. I have them connected through an Ethernet cable and the second one is connected to my PC (through a cable as well). My issue is that I can't forward any ports because it gets really complicated having to deal with 2 routers with different IPs. So I've been googling it and I've seen many people recommending to set it up as an access point but from what I've heard I can't then run a cable from it to my PC. Is that true? If so, are there any alternatives?

Thanks in advance : )

Solution
Yes. If you connect the "AP" router LAN port to the primary router LAN port, then the other three LAN ports on the AP router are just an ethernet switch. You can connect any wired devices to those ports.
