Doesn't matter to which one you plug the monitors. Are you using an sli bridge? And what psu do you have? It might not support it. What mobo do you have?

Ok. Psu is good. Motherboard good too. The bridge is ok too.
As I said before, doesn't matter to which gpu you connect the monitors, they will act as a single graphics card.
