I need to upgrade my pc because the performance isn't really that great. I can barely pull 50 fps in world of warcraft with high graphics. As said in the title I have $200 to spend on the upgrade and I want to get the most value out of it. I know a little about computers, but I know how to use google; so I'm fairly confident I can install whatever upgrade I get. The only issue is that I don't really know what the best thing to upgrade would be. If I could get some input on this issue I would appreciate it very much.

Motherboard: AMD M5A97 LE R2.0
CPU: AMD FX-4130
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 650
RAM: 8GB DDR3 (didn't know how to find the model)

Looks like you built your pc on a tighter budget than me at a similar time, I would definetly upgrade to the FX 6300 at some point. But as the 650 is more of an overclocked 640 with gddr5 than a slightly cut down 660 the graphics are your more standing issue. The 760 and r9-285 are excellent solutions

I need 2 dvi ports and 1 hdmi port for my display setup.

yea, you really need a new cpu and gpu. i would go with the gpu and get the best you can get. if you dont mind a rebate you can get an r9 285

then when you get some more cash, get maybe an fx6300 with a decent overclock

EDIT: has required display ports

So the general consensus is that I should upgrade my GPU. I'm stuck between getting the Radeon R9 285 or the EVGA GeForce GTX760. Are there any benefits to either one other then the 760 being cheaper?

the r9 285 performs a bit better, but the gtx 760 consumes less power.

I have a 650W power supply. Would that be enough for the Radeon R9 285?
