I have a 300 mbps connection, but only receive 150 mbps

Hey guys,

I am paying for 300 mbps, however, for some reason i am only receiving half of it.
This is my setup:

Router: NETGEAR CM400
Wifi Router: Nighthawk AC1900 Model:6900
I use a wired connection

do you get full speed if you connect your computer into the cm400 directly? if not you might need your isp to check there end that they set up correctly

If so then try disabling QOS on the nighthawk. does that help?

Are you using your own modem? In my area the 300+ packages require modems with at least 24 downstream channels due to the the way the ISP has their network configured.

I tried to play around with that setting and it did not change anything.
