Hello.

I have a Black Copper USB Gamepad and when I plug it in my laptop, it doesn't work. The red light does not turn on. The driver of the gamepad is installed when I go to the device manager, it's under "libusbK USB Devics" as "Generic USB Joystick" but it's not working for me. I tried un-installing this driver and installing it again. I've restarted my Windows multiple times. I tried out the gamepad on a PC, and it worked perfectly. I tried troubleshooting the "Generic USB Joystick" but it says that I may have to connect it to a USB 2.0 port for it to work properly but my laptop does not a USB 2.0 port. In "Devices and Printers", the "Generic USB Joystick" is coming under the "Unspecified" tab and I don't understand what to do.

My laptop is Dell Inspiron 15 7567, with specs:
i5-7300 2.5 ghz
8gb ram
4gb 1050ti
256gb SSD
500 gb external HDD

And also note that I have a USB 3.0 hub attached to one of my 3 USB 3.0 ports. I've tried the gamepad on every port, but it still does not work. Please, help me.

What version or versions of Windows are on your laptop and PC? Compare the driver information. Not likely to be the same driver but you may be able to identify some difference that will lead you to the correct driver for the laptop.

Also:

Does the gamepad work if connected directly to one of the laptops 3 (three) USB 3.0 ports without the USB 3.0 connected?

Especially if the USB 3.0 does not have its own power source.

Another consideration - USB Controllers. May need to update those drivers.

Plus be aware that there may be other issues involved per the following links:
