I have a brand new laptop how to install os on it

hi friends i have a new hp laptop how to install first time OS On it, it is not opened at all its Showroom condition guys.

Then it should have the OS on it.

You buy Windows license, or download Linux. Make boot media, install OS.

Guys its not have OS on it when i was power ON The laptop its shows two options 1. Dosfree
2. HP Documents
how i can install OS for this , i will try windows 7 Not booting it.

"DOS Free" is an OS. Whether you can use it or not, is another question.

When you make bootable media - get into BIOS of your laptop, and change boot priority to go first with that media (USB or CD/DVD).

Just for the record - Windows 7 (or any other Windows version) is not free!
