Below is the build i already have a 4k monitor and a evga 1080 ti i usually just play rts games so probably overkill.

I could make it cheaper an go for the I7 8700k cpu
and put in the I9 cpu in a few years time when i upgrade, save buying a new PC, does that make any sense

I am not able to build myself and PC Specialist seem an ok place to go, any tips would be great.

It is a good system. However, the i9 is not compatible with that motherboard, so if you do swap it out down the line you will need to swap the motherboard as well.

Much cheaper and with a bigger PSU with slightly better quality to allow for a more balanced load when you OC both your CPU and GPU. Also includes a 500 GB SSD and 1 TB HDD instead of only a 2 TB HDD. Even though the total space is smaller, the SSD makes for faster loading times.

Better CPU Cooler and OS included.

If you want a the same storage in this build as well (1 TB SSD and 1 TB HDD):

Oh apologies, when you mentioned i9, I originally thought that it was the i9 7900x series, which is not compatible. The i9 9th Gen will be compatible with the Z370 once the mono undergoes a BIOS update.
