Question I have a build that includes a GTX 1660 and I am receiving very low fps.

I try to run monster hunter world on this build and it crashes instantly with the error: err12. Also when i run Borderlands 2 on mostly medium graphics it barely hits 20 frames. My Vram is also limited to 4gb making it almost impossible to run most games although I have 8gb of ram. My psu is 600 watts so it should easily handle the components. Please help.

fresh os install?
cpu/gpu temp and usage during the game?

Thing is this is actually my friends build, I personally built my own pc so I knew that it would work, also mine is a better build. He decided to buy his prebuilt and in the specs listed here they do not give brands but I can attempt to retrieve them if that helps?

also he said the temp of the cpu on borderlands 2 was around 50 degrees whilst battling the warrior.

Are you using gerforce exp to set your graphic settings? Can you download cpuid and post a pic of the first page results?
