I have a connection issue. It appears to be only an issue with me, seeing as my other family members haven't had any issues.

My problems start when I go to play a game of League of Legends. When I am in game, my ping is constantly fluctuating from 500 to even 6000. It rarely drops to playable, which is around 30 ms. I use a USB adapter for a source of connection. I would just like to know the source of the problem, and it there is a fix.

No usb wifi adapter is up to the task of gaming.

You can get a pci-e wifi adapter but for gameplay you would be even better off to get a 500mbps powerline adapter

Thank you for the answer, however I solved the problem by simply buying a longer Ethernet cable to reach my computer.
