I play on a 1600:900 resolution.
I want to overclock the 8350. What should I do?

Depends what motherboard you have.

Your options are limited. A GTX 1060 is barely justifiable with an AM3+ CPU; you'll never fully get the advantage of a GTX 1070 without a platform change. An overclock is not a panacea.
