I have a dell inspiron 3656 is the motherboard compatible with an intel core i7 4790k and a msi r9 380 8gb

I adquired this desktop and i want to know if the motherboard is compatible with an intel core i7 4790k and a msi r9 380 8gb or i have to change it. If i can use it what power supply do you recommend?

Microprocessors like these ones are soldered on a board, as a result, upgrading or replacing them is very very difficult.


These video cards are available with that model:
• NVIDIA GeForce GT705
• NVIDIA GeForce GT720
• NVIDIA GeForce GT730
• AMD Radeon R9 360

Video cards would be limited by small power supply and small size of case. Motherboard is a custom Dell size. If you want to use a different motherboard, I would recommend buying a bare PC case that use standard size parts.

For example, this case uses ATX and Micro-ATX form factor size motherboards.
