I have a dell optiplex 380 mt with Windows 7 64 bit installed only Bios update

I have a dell optiplex 380mt with bios 2010 ai1 installed i have 4 gig of ram which i want to increase to 8 gig if i flash the bios with update 0380-ao7 2014 will this enable me to do this and it would appear that i can also use the Windows system itself to flash the Bios after i down load the update

Dell BIOS updates are little *.EXE self-installing prgrams and usually only 1 or 2MB/s. Go to:

http://www.dell.com/support/home/us/en/19/product-support/product/optiplex-380/drivers/advanced

> and from "BIOS (2 files)" select Dell Optiplex 380 System BIOS O380-A07.exe

After downloading, right click on the file and "Run as Administrator", the program will run and self-install the 2012 BIOS. Then you'll be able to...
