I want to upgrade my dell optiplex 780 mt graphics card and i don't know the max power gpu draw that the pc can take, the power supply is a 300w stock
I don't know how old but it came with the pc and the pc is old, all i know the maximum power is 300 Watts (i have in mind a gt730 for the upgrade)how old is your power supply? I used a GT 1030 on a 250 watt stock psu for almost half a year, and it worked fine.
I will not be home until tomorrow but here a picture from googlehttps://ibb.co/tPd79hwUpload a photo of the inside of the case with the side panel off.

a GT 730 would work too, if it's better than what you have before.
but to have a better chance on playing ps4 level games without lag at 720p, you need to have at least a GT 1030 or it's AMD equivalent.
and lastly, Nvidia has already stopped driver support for the 730.
