I have a Gateway LT4004U netbook. When I put in the 2GB RAM to replace the 1GB RAM, it doesn't boot. Am i supposed to do something with the BIOS? It's running Windows 7. Thank you!

Do you have Windows 7 Starter or other version? If you have starter version then try installing Home Basic version of windows.
