so i have a harddrive from seagate that was bugging out 3 days ago, with 100% usage at all times and nothing downloading then reseting pc and trying to fix it myself and now its gone. i know its connected and my pc can read it because i checked it in the bios. ive tried disabling superfetch and among other things. then i made the choice of just reseting my pc and keeping my files, but now my hdd drive is gone. theres nothing in disk management or device management. seagate tools cant even find it.

so i found out that it works in safe mode but not normal mode
And that may mean that what is accessed in safe mode does not reside on the bad blocks/sectors of the drive.

But....supposing you get it to "work".
What will your next step be?

If that is not "start a comprehensive backup routine", you're doing it wrong.

Drives die. All of them, eventually.
Yours seems to be closer to death than most.
