Question i have a hp pavillion 64bit running windows 7 that was reset due to a forgotten password

now I cant get on line it says im connected but it keeps saying no internet connection is it the drivers and where do I get them from

Wireless or ethernet?
Have you run network troubleshooter first to identify the cause of the connection error?

Basically find out what adapter you have and download them directly from the manufacturers website on another PC.
Presumably you've eradicated the router/ISP itself from the list of suspects?

ok yes its the drivers its coruupted you network configeration is scrammed posibly by useing a proxy,vpn,or power failur easy fix though go into control panel,go to hard ware and sound device manager uninstall all your network adapters lan and ethernet now do a hardware scan it will re install it for you because u uninstalled your drivers the network configeration has been reset to defaults. yes now its fixed.i have same issues time to time this is the best fix
