[SOLVED] I have a HUAWEI P8 Lite can i root it?

So i have a HUAWEI P8 Lite and i want to root it, is it doable without ruining my phone?

version is 5.01 and it is lollipop

and if you know of a way to do this please tell me.

i use xda forum for such info. they are the place where most roots are done and supported. that's where i'd check and see if it's available.
