[SOLVED] I have a laptop that has USB 3.1 gen 1 type C non PD. I want to use Type C HUB (or dongle) with HDMI port to connect my monitor. Will it work?

Yes it should, but be aware that you will be using the display adapter included in the dongle rather than whatever GPU you have in the laptop. Performance could be impacted, depending on what exactly you're doing with it.

The USB C PD port won't work to full rated power though.
