Today, I installed a msata drive into the laptop, although I noticed something early on: the bios registered the msata drive, but windows did not. Didn't matter to me, and I installed windows on the msata drive, formatting and partitioning the hhd that I wwas using before. It registered just fine on a desktop that I used to format and partition it, but when I put it back into the laptop, it didnt register in windows. I double checked, and both of the drives were picked up by bios. How do I get both drives to show? Thanks.

Found the solution guys: plug and unplug your laptop. The laptop turns off non-boot hard drives after 10 minutes. you can change that in advanced power settings, but dang.
