Question I have a macbook Air

I have tried all the reset option but the laptop will not come on. The laptop will hold a charge but it won't turn on. Someone put some software on it and it just crashed. Does anyone have any suggestion on how I can fix it?

How do you know it holds a charge? Have you tried to start it while plugged in? Also what year is it?

It's a 2015 and like I said it will not start up at all. I know it is getting power because when I do the reset you can see the indicator on the power cord change colors from green to orange but that all it does.

Who did that, what did they put on there, and why?

All I know is that he said he put a cracked version of Fruity Loops recording software on it and a couple of days later it crashed. He gave it to me to see if I could do a hard reset and I tried everything and nothing is working.

So there is no activity onscreen, nothing, totally black, no Apple logo?
