i have a paypal dispute question

there is a guy trying to claim that i sold him a faulty motherboard. he has open a dispute with paypal and i gave evidence showing that the item was in perfect working order. the last message i got fro m paypal stated that if the scammer had not provided me / paypal with tracking number/ postal info by the 22nd of dec the dispute will automatically be closed. its now the 23rd and the case file states "awating other partys responce" . i click on it and it says 22nd of dec is the deadline. does anyone know what happens now? is there normally.a.delay ? ive never been in this situation. any help will.be appriciated. thanks

Yes, there is often a delay. Especially now that we are in the midst of the holiday season. Just give it a couple days. Good luck.

Probably, but I wouldn't worry too much until you know the actual status of the dispute.

Sounds like the buyer did receive the item, so I don't know what the tracking number should have to do with the dispute, unless it was a tracking number to return the item to you for a refund.
