Hello there, i had the same problem around 2 months ago, fixed it by activating windows 10, when the watermark appears on your screen with the message to activate it enables some type of V-Sync on your screen, that's why you're getting input delay, just go buy a 10$ key to activate windows 10 and you should be fine

You really be downvoting for no reason, me and a friend of mine had the same problem and fixed it as i said above, windows 10 really be messing with ur pc and i had this input lag issue for over a year, i reached a point that ive tried everything, then i saw a forum here saying that if u activate ur windows will fix it and i said fk it imma try it, and it really worked, 0 input lag.

My windows its not active! hey @boju can you explain more what did you said? what do you mean with PF and ''Could try a fixed initial/max size of say 1024GB/10GB or rather. To stop any chance of it growing and increasing HDD IOPs.'' please i dont understand what you mean.

Control Panel\System and Security\System > Advanced System Settings. Click Advanced tab. Click settings under Performance then Advanced tab.

Click change under Virtual memory. Then a Window like below will show.

Uncheck the Automatically manage box. Set the parameters for custom size. Try the values in the picture. Once click ok, the system will ask to restart.

At anytime you can recheck the Auto box to return settings back to default.

@boju man first of all thanks sooooo much for all the answares, you have 0 clue of how important this is for me, but 1 thing why do you have 3 bars with new volume? i just got the first C: and on the side i have the numbers bellow, but does that even matter? and what if the sistem put it back to default?

Those other volumes are different drives. A system with only one HDD should only show C:\, which is in your case.

Once Pagefile's size is manually set, it wont return to defaults unless you click the auto box again.

Setting Pagefile to a custom size sets the Virtual memory residing on the HDD to a fixed size. Eliminating the chance Windows has of increasing it the longer you play. Sounds like it very well could be since games run fine at the beginning and progressively gets worse.

It's something to try anyhow.

Pagefile/ Virtual memory, same thing different name. Is additional memory space on the HDD the system can use to store data. Sometimes it can get too big and when that happens, the HDD works more and you don't want that. Would be a different story if it was an quicker drive, ie, SSD.

Windows and games still needs a Pagefile so never disable it.

Will adjusting the page file system for an SSD work as well?

Depends on system specs and what the issue is. Usually leaving self managed is fine unless SSD has limited space and have 16GB ram or more. Then you could try reduce PF size to troubleshoot.

If you're trying to work out a problem, it's best start your own thread to include system specs and explain the issue you're having. It could be something else entirely.
