i have a problem with my astro a 40 mic its super low

i tried to fix it from the settings but it still super low i have trade it on another computer and its fine i had the sittings high on my computer and its still low it's very frustrating please help ... i think its some thing that has to do with the mother bored

If it is connected with a 3.5mm jack:
Right click the audio icon -> click "recording devices -> click your microphone -> properties -> Levels -> adjust the level and boost to the level you want.
