I have a question about a motherboard

Intel X299 TAICHI XE LGA 2066 Intel X299 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.1 ATX Intel Motherboard is a good motherboard? I want to upgrade my cpu to the skylake-x and right now i have x99 so i'm thinking to upgrade to this. Should i go for it?

Right now i have x99 motherboard,haswell 5820 cpu,64 gb memory and i want in the next months to buy i9-7940x or minimum the 7920x so i must have a X299 motherboard
