Hey all. First off Id like to thank all that have helped me in the past on here. You are appreciated. But now I have a dilemma of sorts. Ive been sifting thru and sorting video cards for about two weeks now. I landed on this MSI Twin Frozr 760 OC and it looked awesome.

The price seems ok and I even get $25 off for being a new customer at Newegg.

But ive been asking myself if this card will secure my gaming needs for the future. I don't wanna have to rebuy another card for a long time.(GTX 770 are $400!! That's crazy! 760 to 770 and its pretty much twice as much! The one I was considering and I cant even believe im thinking about it is a MSI N770 Lightning GeForce GTX 770 2GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 SLI Support and its $450!! Well $425 with the discount but a $400 Video Card!!
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127742) Right now im runnin a Geforce 9400 GT. Weak I know. Besides Crysis which I could care less about and running Skyrim with every mod which is just ridiculous imo,
Will the MSI Gaming N760 TF 2GD5/OC GeForce GTX 760 2GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 run most everything at ultra settings? Examples are Splinter Cell Blacklist, Bioshock Infinite, Batman Arkham City, Saints Row 4, Dead Island: Riptide,Skyrim(With maybe a mod or 2. Not all ofem) Or even the upcoming Call Of Duty: Ghosts in SP, etc

I wish the 2GB GTX 770 weren't twice as much. Id actually buy one..

So then in 2 years the GTX 780 will be like the 760 now because graphics will be 100x better or more and they will have a new card. Maybe a GTX 1100 or something... So it wouldn really matter in the long run because it will play the games I like to play now on max settings but in 2 years it wont and Ill have to buy another one to keepup lol. Well, I have to say this would be my first real major video card purchase. Ive never spent more then $100 on a Video Card. Guess If I get 2 or 3 years out of this 760 then It will be worth it. Ive had this 9400GT since 2009.

If I could get a GTX 780 I would but I don't have $650 to spend on a card.
(Which is just Ridiculous btw. If your gonna spend that much on a card, Why not get a Titan for $350 more or Sli 2 760 together or 770)

Solution
I say you should be fine with the 760. It offers solid performance and runs some of today's most demanding games at high settings. If more performance is required you can always throw in a second 760 down the line when they're cheaper.
It will run all the games you listed at near the highest if not the highest settings. However, how it will perform a year from now is questionable. I would say that current generation games will be great, but about 2 years from now the 760 will be nearing the bottom of the barrel. If you really want to push it, I would give it 3 years tops before you really can't keep up with new games.
