Question I have a sempron 145 can I still find use for it?

I have an old amd sempron 145 with 4gb of ram and a 512mb gpu, can I run old titles like left4dead2 and TF2 on it?

it's not that I can't afford to buy a new system I have a core I3 8100 with 8gb of ram and a gtx 1050ti I just don't want to throw working stuff away.

The old tech is really not suitable for modern games, but could make a decent Linux rig to learn and play with.
