Using Windows ?
Run diskmgmt.msc and make only one full partition on it.

Or even bin it & buy a new card as I would have done. Once they start messing me about I don't trust them anymore, and there's only one place for memory cards you can no longer trust.

It's not proven to be untrusty, Some other device might have changed file system or partitioned it.
