I have a suspicion that an MSI PC I got is under performing

so I have a suspicion that the MSI PC I got is under performing but now I'm looking for a reason to it or maybe fix it if possible

but the way I found out was that I took my desktop against the MSI PC in some benchmarks

I tested it with 2 different benchmark programs one being 3Dmark and the other being Cinebench R15 and this is the results and specs

MSI PC (GL62M 7RD):
CPU: i5-7300HQ
GPU:GTX 1050 2GB
Cinebench R15: OpenGL: 73.43FPS CPU: 476 cb
3Dmark: score on Firestrike 1.1: 5095

my desktop:
CPU: i7-6700
GPU: GTX 1060 6GB
Cinebench R15: OpenGL 112.86FPS CPU: 741 cb
3Dmark: score on Firestrike 1.1: 10905


so am I right in that the MSI PC is under performing ?
and could there be any reason to it ?

Its a laptop. It isnt going to have the same kind of horsepower that a desktop has. Thermally, it cant in most cases. Id expect that it is performing about how it should.

rofl, my pc does 2/3 of what your laptop does and i am very happy with it

is a laptop with a basic gpu, you are asking too much!

you are doing comparisons between a entry level gpu on a laptop and a 1060!
