I Have A Turtle Beach Headset

I just built my PC about a week ago, and I plugged my Turtle Beach Headset into the sound card but the Sound still comes out of the TV and nothing goes through the headset. Can someone please help me out with this problem?

Right click on the volume icon and go to playback devices, find turtle beach and set as default.
