I have a ubee cable modem gateway. I can acess it through my computer and connect to it via my phone, but do not have internet

I can't access internet on my home network. Set up ubee cable modem gateway. Can connect to network, but have no internet. Wifi led on front of box is lit. Checked coaxle cable, all connected to wall and modem securely. What am i missing?

you have a router attached to it?
what happens if you have a pc connected straight to the cable modem?
when did it stop working?

I do not. I did, but it seemed to stop working (couldnt access t even hard wored to it) , but i thpught maybe i didnt need a router since it had Wifi on it. Sorry, kind of dumb. You think i need a router?

did you call the cable company to get it on the account if you just got it they need to activate it for you to use it on the internet.
