I have a View Sonic VA712b model VS10801 0r 10901. there is no sound . What do I need in order to have sound from the monitor

Well, do you have the included audio cable going from the output on your computer to the input of the monitor?

I do not have this cable/ what does it look like as I have a box of cables

It has green plugs on both ends.
