Hi all, I have this weird occurrence with my PC built in 2013(or as it 2014) for gaming. Last few months, this kept happening:
The display were frozen, and the sound goes "Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr" and then the pc froze indefinitely, leading to a restart via the power button. And in several cases the restart just didn't work. It seems to try to boot up the PC but the boot up seems to hang.
This occurs on different cases:
-Playing my fav game: Black Desert Online:
-Binging with Babish sessions
-Halfway on the Discord call with buddies
-Reddit hopping
It is definitely not overheating issue as some of the occasion, I was basically on Chrome and just browsing.
The first time this occured, I sent to the shop and he mentioned that he just checked and there is no issue, and has just de-dusted the PC and sent me home. However this still occurs.
There is no definite way to replicate this. I managed to sometime game for hours on Rainbow Six Siege with no issue. And sometimes, browsing Chrome for 20 mins could lead to this. I am suspecting a bad RAM or Processor going bad.
Spec:
Nvidia GTX 980 6GB
Intel i56400 2.70GHz
1x 8GB Kingston RAM
Forgot my PSU but it was 600W i believe.
