I have a WRT1900AC, what would be a good upgrade?

I really dont like the features of the WRT1900ac. You cant turn it to ac only. What would be a good upgrade? Is the WRT1900acs good enough to upgrade to?

Have you considered a custom firmware? I believe it may help with doing exactly what you want. Look here: http://www.dd-wrt.com/site/index and search for your router. It's officially supported and will have much better functionality and control with the right firmware.
