[SOLVED] I Have ACER GN246HL but it says Incorrect cable please use the dual-link DVI cable that came with your monitor when I switch to 144hz.please help me!!

The DVI-D that I am using right now didn't came from the monitor package. I bought the DVI-D and I don't have any idea where the DVI-D that came with the box is.

Is there any solution to this problem at all? I am getting sad every time I think about my monitor, I really want 144hz so bad, 144hz monitor would be useless if I only can use 60hz.
Acer is just too dumb not to put display port on it and because of that mistake, everyone is having a problem with their monitor. This is just too depressing.
