i have an acer tablet can u tell me where the reset button is

i have an acer tablet I cant get it to turn on , tried rebooting it but no luck not sure where the reset button is on the unit , could anyone plz help

Maybe start by telling us what model number it is.

Also, what reset button are you referring to if you're saying you already tried rebooting it.

hi when I did a google search it said they would be a reset button either on back of unit or by power button also model # A3-A10

I held power n volume button together got reset thing but nothing happened model # IS A3-A10

So the tablet turns on, and you can get into the factory reset menu, but it doesn't boot into the operating system?

If you've managed to do a hard reset using the power+volume buttons and that still didn't fix the problem I'd say you have a faulty tablet.

when I hold volume n power button I get the following, reboot system, apply update from external storage, wipe data / factory reset, demo mode , I selected reboot system and I pressed power button n screen went black to pick one of those how do I do it is it the power button I suppose to hit n if so do I hold it or what do I do at that point

I contacted company also to see what they say since it not even 2 yrs old

See how you go with Acer. I had to RMA an Acer tablet of mine a few years ago and they were pretty helpful.

Have you tried using the factory reset option? Be mindful that if you do use this option it will delete all of your data (so if you have photos or whatever that you want to save don't do this)

yes I did but the same happened I clicked power button and screen went black, not sure what im sup to click once I choose the option is it the power button I click after I choose what I want to do

Yeah I believe what you are doing is correct, there are only three buttons so the volume button would be up/down in the menu, and power is select.

From the sounds of it getting Acer to fix it will be the best option here.
