Question i have an i7 1165g7 it has 16 3200 mhz ram cl 22 I want to upgrade it to 16gb 3200mhz cl 16

hp doesn't allow you to modify the xmp settings on this laptop. but the memory controller has gone to 1300 mhz and when that happens the ram frequency goes to 1300 mhz times 2 because its dual channel. so essentially 2666 mhz at cl 19 mhz. sometimes the memory controller goes down to around 500 mhz and the cl timing goes to cl 15. is xmp enabled. and if not is there a way to enable it on my hp 15-dyxxx so I can buy xmp ram for my laptop.

If there is no xmp option in the bios then I suspect the answer is no.
