I have an issue booting Windows 7 disc

I have a Windows 7 64-bit disc that doesn't seem to boot in the computer's start up, but it works when i'm already in Windows itself. I already tried various methods to get it working including the bios, but it only works when i'm already in windows, not start up.

Is it a genuine disk or a copy? If it's a copy, it might simple not being bootable.

If the PC is old you might need to set your SATA mode to "IDE" in the BIOS.

You have to ensure that the DVD rom drive is set to be the first boot device in the BIOS or manually selecting the device in Boot options by pressing F10 or F11 or F12 (depends on your motherboard) when the computer first starts to boot.
