Question I have an outdated microphone that registers as generic usb pnp sound device..

When it was released for windows 7 it registered as an audio technica at2020usb+ which is a great mic. Except, I have completely lost comprehension as to of what this other "line" is. Imgur: The magic of the Internet. I tried plugging an input cord into the headphones jack to see if it worked and nothing registered. I havn't been able to figure out what is it. I am assuming it's a functioning line in input. But, doesn't work. And am confused. It registered as just "line" ..wth?

Yeh, I just emailed the company about it. In the manual it doesn't show a line or anything. So, I am assuming it's just registering the usb cord generically as 2 possibilities.. It plain old does nothing so I have disabled "line" it's a windows 2000 microphone. heh heh heh
