...I have been banned, but I am not?

I hate to beat on dead horses, but I've been banned. Around 12:30... weird. The same message appeared on my phone when checking for a new reply, and I was on my phone (Verizon Moto X on the T-Mobile LTE network). I was so scared, but no indication of ban was in my PM.

Are you using VPN? If so you were likely on an IP address that has been banned (most likely as a SPAM source)

... No VPNs. Never need to use one. Also, like I said, I'm using a Moto X on the T-Mobile LTE network.

Also, no captchas either. Just "You have been banned." showing up.

Even without a VPN you may have been assigned an IP address that was banned in the past. Next time it happens capture the IP address and PM it to any of the mods. It can be checked against the ban list.

I use an app called "Network Signal Info". You can also use your browser (www.whatsmyip.org)

Or just google "My IP address".

We can't really do anything without that; I don't think failed attempts to post are logged, at least not where I can see them.

You say you're banned but you can post here to say it.

From here it's clear your account isn't banned. Neither is your Mountain View, CA IP address in spite of it being shared by some other folks who are linked to a huge block of dubious IPs.

Can you reproduce a scrfeenshot of the message here?
