[SOLVED] i have been getting fps drops from 240 down to 0

so i have been getting fps drops lateley and im unsure what part needs upgrading so here is what i know
i have 8 gigs of decently good ram
a i7-7800x cpu
a gtx 1050ti
&
some slow as SSD

i suspect the issue coul be my SSD as my cpu is running at about 30 % used and at really good temps while my ssd gives me slow load speeds.

You need to look at the usage of each core. 30% of a 12 thread cpu comes to 3 threads and 60% of another.

Slow SSD? One of those dram-less Kingston A400 models?
Is it almost full? Tried clearing some space off of it?

my drive is 1.5 tb and only has like 500gb on it so i was thinking of getting another really good ssd and just putting all my games on it to increase loading speeds and hopefully reduce fps drop.

would this do ??

What's the make and model of this drive? It shouldn't be slowing down from just being 1/3 full...

Yeah, that 128GB system drive isn't very good, nor does it give you much headroom.
Clear some space, X-fer some files, or simply get a larger SSD.

The single stick of ram is a physical limitation and must be fixed.

Those are the biggest red flags I see at the moment.
