I installed Windows 7 32 bit the first time and bought 4 gb more of ram leaving me with 6gb. Well you know 32 bit only supprots 3.25 GB of ram so I upgraded to the 64 bit and I made the mistake of not choosing *upgrade*, instead, I chose install a new version of windows. Now I have 2 window 7 on my boot and I want to delete the 32 bit version and leave my windows 7 on. How to I go about this?
I tried reformatiing with the windows 7 cd. But when I type Format D: it says cannot format removable media, but on my 'computer' it shows the 64 bit as C: and the 32 bit as D:
My CD ROM drive is Drive E:
What am I doing wrong? What do I need to do to get rid of the 32 bit version? BTW the 32 bit version on drive d is NTFS and so is the 64 bit version
