[SOLVED] I have bought a 1070 and my PC had no display.

Fury Beast 8gb
Palit Jetstream 1070 8gb
MSI Mag A550

My problem is there is no display from the 1070 but windows booted as I've heard the windows sound.

I have been using a gt710 and used DDU to remove the drivers before installing the 1070.

When I put my gt710back, there is display and when I check DDU history it detected the 1070.

I have tried all the ports too and still no display.

What could be the problem here

Check all the cables are in at bothe sides. Also what PSU do you have

What do you mean both sides?
The 6+2 pin? It is inserted.
My PSU is MSI Mag A550

Make sure it’s inserted correctly and reseat the GPU.

Are you sure the GPU isn’t dead?

Also try booting in safe mode to see if you get a display.

Thanks for the concern guys. It is working now. I tried reseating the GPU all over again and had a display at the HDMI Port.
I bought new DP cables to test the DPs and check if my dp cable is just busted.
