No sorry, without the use of advanced programs to recover teh files (expensive to buy) you cant recover them.

Possibly possible. Any use of said disk/computer lessens the chance of recovering said files. (deleted file is marked as "free space" not actually overwritten at delete and any program wanting to save things might save it on top of said file, making it unrecoverable.)

Try "testdisk". It is a bit of overkill but it can often recover files others can not see and also it is free.
