I have disk, but no volume for that disk. What to do? I have external HDD, but it's not shown under My Computer. I can see it

I have disk, but no volume for that disk. What to do? I have external HDD, but it's not shown under My Computer. I can see it in Computer Management Disk 0 and 3 volumes + Disk 2 and 2 volumes, but Disk 2 (my external HDD) is in status "Not Initialized". i cannot "Initialize Disk"
i cannot do anything.the button for initialize cannot be used.can u help me?

Is this new or have you had it for a while? If it isn't letting you initilize the disk that is usually an issue with the disk
