[SOLVED] I Have dual 1600MHz but can't run them at XMP speed

Hello! I've got two HyperX 8GB 1600Mhz Ram, they're both working in the bios on 1333MHz

i tried looking for the XMP but it's not there anymore, i tried one ram alone and it was there and i was running only one stick on 1600Mhz

so i tried manually setting it to 16 with two sticks, fired up windows then i heared noises and weird smell so i turned off my pc and set it to 1333Mhz

anybody knows how can i set both of them to 1600 without frying them?

should be there. what do you see in bios?

The odd smell was likely from dust or something in the DRAM slots. Probably nothing to worry about but you should probably blow all of the dust out.
These modules are not the same so they run at the lower speed if at all.

well the only thing missing in the bios is the XMP profile but only when both sticks are working

so should i change it back to 1600 in the bios and see what happens?

changed it back to 1600, it's just like u said but the timings changed from 9-9-9-24 to 11-11-11-29, which one is better
